Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better popularly known as Ari Lennox, is an American artist and performer from Washington, D.C., who was the first woman to join J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. Her first EP, Pho which was released on 21 October 2016 was released by Dreamville Records. Her career began to grow in fame. Shea Butter Baby is her debut album. The release date was May 2019. Ari Lennox released her debut tracks online in 2012. She dropped Five Finger Discount in 2013 and Ariography EP in 2013. In 2014 she continued to make music available on the internet including her independently released single Bound. In July of 2015, Omen featured her on his album Elephant Eyes featuring the track Sweat It Out. J. Cole, who was a member of the Dreamville crew at that time was interested in having her work on Rihanna in reference to Rihanna.
